New Year's Eve Collection

Happy ALMOST New Year's! haha...
Well I thought it would be fun to share a few different styles, ideas, outfits and accessories to wear for New Year's Eve. Everyone always wants to welcome the new year in their best!

1. The SEXY DRESS:
Every woman should feel beautiful in a dress. The trick is, to wear the RIGHT dress.

Don't worry about what size the tag says, no one is going to see your size on the tag.  Just wear what looks best!  No matter what size you are, from a size 0-16, if you don't wear the right dress for your body size and shape, it won't do you justice. And don't forget the golden rule, less is more! You don't have to show a ton of skin to feel sexy. :)
I always like to wear a simple dress with a few unique details, like the one up top.

2. Some EDGEY HEELS.
Walk into the new year with some hot, spunky, FUN heels!  My favorite heels of the year are these super sick,  black Sam Edelman peep-toe heels.  They also come in different colors.

No matter what heel you decide to wear, remember!...you want to be able to be comfortable and wear them all night. It's a big no no to take them off and walk around bare foot. haha...And there is such a thing as comfortable heels. :) When you go shopping for heels, be sure you try both sides of the shoe! If you try on just one shoe, you don't get to feel the arch or ball of the heel. Be sure to wlak around in them for a couple of minutes, especially on hard floor...Who cares if people are looking at ya funny. haha!

3. BOLD LIPSTICK (if you don't plan on kissing anyone at midnight)  haha!
I love lipstick...from nude to red.  I've been wearing lipstick whenever I can. I love what a bold, rich, beautiful lipstick does. If you choose to wear a lipstick color for New Year's Eve, be sure to wear a good qauality lipstick, especially if you drink out of a bottle like me. haha...Another tip!...if you do decide to wear a lipstick, make your eyes more simple and elegant. Don't try to  match your bold lipstick with a bold eyeshadow. Go natural with the eyes.  My favorite lipstick right now  is REBEL from MAC. It's a satin lipstick and stays on FOREVER! I love it.  Don't forget to take your lipstick with you just in case!  :)

4. Nude KISSABLE Lips
If you plan on smooching someone at midnight, the more nude, pinky lips might work out in your favor.  Although I love the bold  colors, guys may want to kiss a more natural pinky lip rather than have a lip print right smack on his lips.  The best way I know how to keep color on is to line and color your lips with a lip liner (in this case a nude-ee/pink)...Go over it with your color of choice and top it off with a little shimmery gloss.  For extra staying power, you could dab the middle of your lips with  a shimmery, nude colored eye shadow.  MYTH is a great nude color from MAC or there are also cheap alternatives at the drug store that'll do the trick!  :)   MUAH!

5.  Sparkling EYES
If you choose not to wear a lipstick, go with a glittery eye.  Glittery eyes will catch everyone's attention!  Or shoot!...if you really want, you could be a wild child and wear both!  haha!  You could definitely wear whatever you wish, but I'm just giving you my tips and advice.  :)
I'm sorry, I didn't have time to do a "glittery eye picture", my computer is in the shop and not working right now so I don't have a lot of my pictures with me.  But if you do decide to, here's the recipe!
After applying your eye primer, go in with a fluffy brush and cover your lid with a light natural brown.  Grab some clear eyelash glue and pat it across your whole lid,  try to avoid getting any on your crease. Choose any color cosmetic loose glitter (BE SURE IT'S COSMETIC GLITTER), I love gold, and with a flat brush, gently pat the glitter onto your eyelid while the glue is still wet.  You can choose to finish off this look with  a simple cat eye eyeliner.  If you have any loose glitter that falls on to your cheeks, simply brush it off with a big powder brush.

6.  HEAD PIECES
This year I got to make and create some pretty cool head pieces for my sister's bachelorette party.  Ever since then I have been super loving them!  Go ahead and put one in your hair to accessorize your outfit!    There are a lot of different styled hair pieces out there...easy to find also.  At clair's or even Forever 21.  So choose one that you love and play with it to see where it looks best.  It's ok if it looks a little funky...it's the fun in it.  :)

7.  PJ'S
Not everyone likes to go out on New Year's Eve, and that's totally cool!...so why  not get comfy, ask a couple of your favorite girlfriend's to come over and celebrate the count down at home?  If you want to make it fun, maybe have a coordinating color or theme!  Or of course, there's nothing like snuggling up with your significant other to welcome the new year.

8.  Legging and Shorts
I love the combination of leggings and shorts, and the leggings really could be of any color.  You could pair them up with a cute jean short or a dressier short like Gwen Stefani did here.

You don't have to dress up it...if you want to dress it down a little more, you could always wear this duo with a military boot and a blazer.  It's fun to play dress up, so try on a few different shoes and see which one fits you best.

Whatever you choose to do on New Year's Eve, choose to be safe. I hope I helped you guys a little bit. Remember guys, make up and clothes are supposed to be fun.  Just play around with them and come up with your own personal style.  I wish you guys a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Be safe, have fun and be yourself.  If you have any new year's resolution, I hope they come through.  I have  few myself that I'm promising to keep.  Have a beautiful day guys and I hope you enjoyed.  If you have any questions, shoot them at me and I will try my best to answer them.  THANKS!
